Sun Salutation the yoga warm - up exercise a combination of movement and breath to start the yoga routine . Maybe also the most important for the yoga routine . Sun Salutation gives Soul power to our body.


Starting the exercise , watching the sun at sunrise in the morning , getting the energy and the warm from the sun to preparing the body for the exercise and the rest of the day .


Hatha yoga flow is designed to start with Sun Salutation warming .There is the traditional salute to the sun and many variations. Normally done quickly and relaxed, do six times multiple of six.


The dynamic Yoga - Vinyasa Yoga Flow, includes several variations of sun salutations , the rhythm is slower than in hatha yoga and more powerfull there are usually two salutations A and B mostly with three repeticions .


In ashtanga yoga we start the exercise doing sun salutation A and B fife times each .


In classical hatha yoga the exercise program starts also with other warming up exercises.
